Now this is a local War of 1812 reenactment covered by the Media, be prepared as this should not be taken seriously ! We both felt we wanted to post this here as it is light hearted, but it also shows reenacting.
Note :- Disable the sound of Asokan Farewell at the bottom of the page.
ENJOY.....
Hopefully it was not taken too seriously, but maybe a laugh or two was heard as you watched this little Video ?

Just a couple of little painted items, they are plastic but painted to look like wood.
The pictures below show the actual size next to a 12" figure :-

Now this is something really completely different to what I have made in the past, not even sure how it came about really. Well it's a Medieval Stocks, made of wood with chains and the locking pins. The pins can actually be withdrawn and the lower section dropped to allow a figure to be place in the Stocks.
Getting be that the same figure is being the 'Model' for everything we do !! Maybe Rhonda will be taking pictures with Sharpe wearing her custom hats soon

Finally got some drawings and information regarding the Civil War Wall Tent. Rhonda is trying to figure out how to replicate this in 1/6th.
Would anyone be interested in acquiring one ? Not sure yet on cost, but she seems confident in being able to make one..........
Thanks and hope people are still enjoying the whole site, and keep those posts coming in the Forum !!!

Just wondering if we can pick people's minds......what would you like to see ? Maybe it's something you think would be great in 1/6th for the period up to 1900. Maybe it's something you have tried to make but could not quite get there. maybe it's something that you think WE could make. Rhonda and I both like a challenge, as some members are aware we will try our hands at anything !!!
Let us know and let's see what we can do !!!!!
Hi, we are Richard and Rhonda - hence R&R - and we make as a hobby items for 1/6th Action Figures.
This is definitely not a business, we just enjoy the hobby and whilst making items for ourselves we thought we could sell a few at the same time. We both love history, especially what has been called the "Horse and Musket" period. Sadly it is a much neglected period of history in the 1/6th world, except for maybe the American Civil War. Battle Gear Toys have really come to the forefront since they first appeared back in about 2002, and really cover the American Civil War and to a lesser extent the Wild West.
On here we would love to share this fascinating period of History, with some of the many people we have 'met' through other forums and Ebay. Maybe discuss the figures produced over the years, and currently, for this period, and offer knowledge and information from 'members' , to others who maybe are new to this hobby or just are unaware of what is out there, and what can be done to recapture this period in time.
. The mechanics of this type of site are completely new to us, and maybe in time we will understand it better. Until then we will both add and alter this site, and we are always open to comments and suggestions about the site's content and appearance.
So let's enjoy this "Nicer" period of History.....
(Just try to resist that urge for anything after 1900 !!!
)
We have thought long and hard about this and decided that we do want to send our regards to the Family of someone we never met, but over the internet we shared a passion for 1/6th Action Figures.
It was sad news indeed to hear of the passing of General Grierson/Heinz1 or to us Romy at the young age of 43. Both Rhonda and myself wish to pass on our deepest sympathy to his family and friends.
